Leafy toes

I love autumn. On a potter across the park my shoes picked up some nice toe-caps.

Tubular Future Fancy

Apparently this is the first new underground train in the last 10 years. A lot has happened in this time, broadband is commonplace, mobile phones ubiquitous, mass produced sudo electric cars… Infact not a lot has happened that has brought us closer to the future, the iPhone maybe? Anyway after ten whole years we have […]

1/8 Irish

One day our discussion was looping around how my wife had Irish blood but ‘how much’ was the question… After a large family tree, some fractions and an outward bound tide we established that Philippa was one eighth Irish. Now for the next problem – when should a person accept that they are no longer […]

Chelone AKA MC Lowqui

This post is under time. Time moves everything, atoms, emotions, hair. I have known this chap for a good few years maybe 13. If only I knew how he was. Time has moved him and I can’t find him.

Space and Time Control Found

I was supporting my dearest at our 22 week baby scan when I made the discovery of a lifetime. I think I now understand why babies grow so quick and how they fill woman’s bellies overnight. It is the application of space and time . No, really…. while we are all lead to believe that […]

Underground clock

Anyone know what the font is? It is made of many shareable units. Humm. Does anyone know anyone that reads this crap? I don’t.

Chain entry control

I like the complex simplicity of this gate. Complex as it has moving parts which are hidden in the turret which I imagine is hard to get in and fiddle; and the channel for the chain when dropped as in the images. Nothing like the rather simple folding gates I saw all over japan [posts […]

The curtain repurposed

This pic was taken travelling from Rome via Asoli to a Spagehetti wedding in 2007. I like how the man has chosen privecy from people inside the train rather than outside and window/ head vibration over dark curtain-as-pillow type thing.

The best sandwiches

The images speaks for themselves. I can imagine that time was a key factor in my wife’s mind when she lovingly made these for me, note that they were months apart in their creation. Don’t I have the best wife!

Slide rule clock prototype

This creation makes me wonder if anyone has made a similar clock but with rotating drums, this making the 0 next to the 60 and the minute/ hour transitions smooth and simple. http://blog.makezine.com/archive/2008/08/slide_rule_clock_prototyp.html?CMP=OTC-0D6B48984890

Pocket sundials

Take this link as a precurser to a ramble about time and pocket watches. http://blog.makezine.com/archive/2008/07/pocket_sundials.html?CMP=OTC-0D6B48984890
