Apparently this is the first new underground train in the last 10 years. A lot has happened in this time, broadband is commonplace, mobile phones ubiquitous, mass produced sudo electric cars… Infact not a lot has happened that has brought us closer to the future, the iPhone maybe? Anyway after ten whole years we have a *new train.

Harder seats. Stronger acceleration. Different beeps for door openning and closing. More legroom, better ventilation. Well thats what it says on the tin and i suppose it delivers. I doubt it will provide the faster journeys it touts but it certainly has better lighting. Maybe a touch too stark and clinical. Is the future?
