Butchered in London – the DIY approach to good meat

Mid January 2009 I was gifted a butchery course which I wanted to go on. It was run by Farmer Sharp and the tutor was Mr Sharp himself in Borough Market London. It was an odd session, starting at 15:00 and due to continue ’till it over’ which for me was about 2200 and I was only the second to leave from the group of 5, or was it 6? Ha.

It was damn cold that night and we were standing outside, covered by the main Market roof but still chilled by the wind. Luckily we were 10 strides from the pub which provided regular liquid wamth- despite our beer jackets some of the group were numb with cold.

So what happenned? Well no one really wants to know the detail but i had fun, learnd a lot and came home with some top quality meat!
